As awards season continues we can't help but be a little disappointed by the outfits at this weekends' Screen Actors Guild Awards. Stars such as Kate Winslet and Katie Holmes seem to be playing it safe with simple block colour full length gowns. Maybe they are just holding out on us till the Oscars.
Fortunately we've managed to find some great outfits elsewhere this week. It seems the Producers Guild Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday was the real stylish event of the week.
It is a double for Slumdog Millionaire actress Freida Pinto as she picked a great dress for these awards as well as the SAGs. We know it's block colour as well but the diagonal lines and rouched waist keep it a bit different. The nude colour is big news right now and it makes Freida's skin look positively glowing.
She kept the look young with her tousled curls and smokey eyes and we love that she has worn a cuff instead of the traditional diamond bracelet. Our only complaint is that Freida looks a bit too skinny on this photo. Let's hope it's just the angle and image conscious Hollywood hasn't gotten to her already.
Next up is Catherine Zeta Jones. Catherine has had a bit of stick recently for looking tired and old but considering the actress will turn 40 this year she looks great and could easily pass for 10 years younger.
We love this Grecian style frock and the fact has snubbed the normal cream or white colour for mauve. Catherine proves you can flash a bit of flesh in a classy way.
The metallic T-bar sandals and stack of bracelets are the perfect accessories for a simple dress. In fact the only thing ageing about CZJ is her husband! If we looked this good at 40 we'd be delighted!
