Lady GaGa

Lady GaGa

Say what you like about her, this lady knows how to make fashion headlines, which is why she has been awarded the honour of being our Muse Of The Month for May.

We've barely stopped writing or reading about her over the past four weeks, what with her orb hats, crazy glitter catsuits and oversized lace up boots making us all sit up and take notice.

While Drew Barrymore was a worthy muse last month, she's slipped off the radar recently and GaGa has stepped up to take her place in the crazy fashion stakes; perhaps she heard there was a vacancy?!

Whatever the reason for GaGa's sudden fashion popularity, we absolutely love her bonkers style, purely because she doesn't give a damn and dresses they way she feels on the day.

We've got to see her close-up over the past month, after a promotional tour to the UK really made headlines, thanks to her penchant for a porcelain tea cup, and a certain fascination with Geisha lips.

Her appearances on Jonathan Ross in a post-it note dress, and Paul O' Grady in a pair of bum baring shorts with thigh-high lace up boots, should go down in fashion history as being the most ludicrous outfits ever invented!

That said, we were strangely fascinated by it all and oddly enough, we think the host's were too, as they just seemed to accept her crazy appearance as normal and got on with interview.

This is the thing, people do tend to accept her for who she is and that's exactly the kind of role model that we need to champion these days; someone who isn't afraid to be different, and that was certainly the case when she appeared on The Ellen show a couple of weeks ago.

Personally, we adored her strange 'GaGa barrier' orb hat, which granted was very odd indeed, but it deserves some major style points for nearly knocking Ellen out when she went to hug the singer.

Most recently she's hit headlines for THAT Rolling Stone cover, where she appears naked covered with just a few bubbles to preserve her modesty.

It's provoked strong reaction to say the least, proving that she can still shock when you think she's done it all. So here's to Lady GaGa, our new Muse of The Month here at FemaleFirst!
