When a girl opens and closes for Prada, it's the start of something big for that model, as she becomes the new 'One To Watch' in the fashion world.
That's exactly what happened to Katlin Aas this year, as she took centre stage in Milan for Prada's autumn/winter 09 show.
The buzz started almost immediately about her, as she quickly became a modelling sensation overnight, despite this being only her first season on the catwalk.
Perhaps it was the success of previous Prada girls that have created this massive buzz around Katlin.
After all, previous leading ladies, such as Sasha Pivovarova went on to become the face of the brand, in addition to landing campaigns for both Giorgio Armani and Tiffany & Co.
So a 16-year-old student from Estonia may soon be experiencing similar success and we can't say we'd be too surprised if that was the case.
Her natural beauty and charm have made her a hit already in the modelling world, and as soon as she hits the mainstream, there's no doubt that she'll be just as in demand.
Having already opened for Christopher Kane, and walked for Jaeger London, Giles and Topshop Unique before Milan, it's understandably why we're all getting in a tizz about her.
Her career defining moment arguably came when she bagged the coveted opening spot for Prada, so who knows what's next for the young style starlet?
Well, one thing's for sure and that's that we haven't seen the back of Katlin Aas this season, mark our words!
