Leighton Meester As Blair in Gossip Girl
The countdown continues to the next series of Gossip Girl, which is just a mere day away from broadcasting here in the UK. To celebrate this momentums occasion, we thought we'd delve into the wonderfully fashionably wardrobe of Blair Waldorf.
After looking at Serena and her style yesterday, today it's the turn of her second in command- the lovely and terrifying Blair.
New York's very own Queen B had the most enviable style in season one, championing coloured tights, bow headbands, lace dresses and clashing florals to the max.
Her preppy-cool style became the most envied and copied look once the show aired in the UK, and off screen Leighton Meester has been gaining similar praise for her fashion credentials.
This series sees Blair's style become more outrageous, but there is a noticeable difference in her look from season one, in the sense that she has definitely grown up a lot.
Expect to see Blair in capes, white tights, and tartan in upcoming episodes, with a few ball gowns thrown in for good measure later on in the series.

This look is very sweet and innocent for the summer months and describes Blair's perfect style to a tee, if not her personality. As always, Queen B accessorises her look with a headband and an 'on trend' handbag. We're especially loving the unique looking design of her skirt in this picture.
