Girls Aloud's Nicola and Kimberley

Girls Aloud's Nicola and Kimberley

Girls Aloud always have impeccable style, and they looked as hot as ever on the set of their number one single, The Promise.

Channeling a 60s vibe, the girls rocked all the key looks of the 60s including monochrome, beehives, and of course the sexy mini-skirt.

The girls are well known for incorporating a theme into their videos, who can forget their Renaissance style outfits for 'I Can't Speak French' or their turn as beauticians for 'The Show'.

They definitely have fun with their look, which is why we all love them. We at FemaleFirst think they look amazing in their new video, so here's our rundown on how to work the 60s, Girls Aloud style. The idea is not to copy it completely but take key elements of the trend and work it your way.

Sexy Leopard Print

Sarah looks stunning in this Leopard print catsuit, complete with PVC gloves. Leopard print is a huge look at the moment, with everyone from Kate Moss to Daisy Lowe embracing the trend. It's easy to incorporate into your wardrobe too, as you can just add a splash of spots to your look if you don't want to end up looking like Bet Lynch, or you can go all out. It's completely up to you.

Retro Playsuit

Nadine's look is very workable for the modern day, as the monochrome look is huge right now and the playsuit is very versatile. It can be worn on a Christmas night out or could be played down during the day, by teaming it with tights and a blazer. The gloves are optional, but don't forget the days and nights are getting chilly, so really you could just copy this whole look!

Beehived beauty

We wouldn't be surprised if Cheryl's beehived hair caught on in a big way, especially as this is the look she's favouring at the moment. Cheryl's look is one of the most popular at present and it isn't hard to see why. Her doe eyes, cute mini-skirt and retro shirt are bound to be a big hit with the girls and men alike.

60s Shift

Nicola looks stunning in this copper-coloured shift dress, which compliments her pale skin tone and flaming red hair. This sort of dress will look great on anyone, as it isn't figure hugging but it will enhance your shape. Wear with some black opaques and some platforms for a night out to best channel the 60s vibe.

Flapper Dress, £65, Miss Selfridge

Patterned Princess

Kimberley works the patterned dress to perfection, teaming the look with some retro white gloves, sunglasses and of course monochrome eyes. She reminds us a little bit of Twiggy back in the day. Full marks Ms Walsh for rocking the 60s look to the max.
