Claire Merry in Pam Hogg AW09
Pam Hogg's return to the runway at London Fashion Week earlier this year was something of a crazy triumph for the veteran designer.
We say crazy because her fashion was just as outlandish and wacky as it's always been, and yet she still caused a sensation on the runway, with models like Daisy Lowe and Alice Dellal lining up to model for her.
With all that hype it was only a matter of time before some brave celeb stepped up to the mark to model one of Pam's designs, at an actual red carpet event.
You may have seen a woman wondering around the Star Trek premiere last week in a space age catsuit and wondered what the hell she was thinking- well that was on of Pam's creations!
Yes, that silver and black number was actually a catwalk creation and what's more Claire Merry's choice of attire has actually been praised by some of the fashion pack.
We think otherwise however, as she topped our Worst Dressed List last week, but we have to give her some praise for having the balls to step out in public dressed like this!
Like most catwalk looks there is a fine line between what is shown on the runway and what can be got away with in real life.
Unfortunately this is definitely one of these instances, as if someone as svelte as Claire can't pull this off, what chance is there that an ordinary lady can?!
