Cheryl Cole has revealed that she used to dress like a tomboy during her teen years.
The stunning Girls Aloud star told Hello! magazine that she used to love dressing down in baggy jeans and jumpers, before she discovered "girlie clothes and high heels".
Cheryl, who regularly tops best dressed lists also admitted that her hubby, Ashley Cole prefers her dressed down, rather than all dolled up.
She said: "He thinks I look cutest in a casual tracksuit with my hair pulled back at home."
It's refreshing to hear that Cheryl is just like any ordinary girl at heart, dressing to suit her mood and covering up when she feels bloated.
She even admitted that she gets her biggest thrill when women tell her how gorgeous she is, compared to when men compliment the petite star.
"For me there’s no bigger compliment in the world than another woman saying, ‘My God, doesn't she look gorgeous in that!’ That to me is far more of a compliment than a man saying, ‘She looks sexy.’"
Despite being recently voted as the Sexiest Woman in the World, The X Factor judge still finds faults with her body, but has learnt to live with it.
"As I've matured into a woman, I've reached the point where I realise I've got to concentrate on my best bits rather than struggle and strive for things I'll never achieve."
