Skylanders® Imaginators allows kids to unleash their imaginations like never before, by giving them the power to create their own characters and bring them to life for the first time. Not only that, they can do it within an all-new Skylanders adventure including a new storyline, puzzles, battles, and an exciting lineup of heroes and villains they won’t have seen before.

Kids around the world have long dreamed of creating their own Skylanders and now they can. They can design their own Skylanders from scratch and choose from endless combinations of powers, abilities, catchphrases and physical attributes, to name just a few.
So what do you need to know about the game before getting involved? Take a look at our five essential facts below…
1. You can create your own Skylander – For the first time ever, kids can bring their imaginations to life and create their own playable Skylanders. There are endless creation options, including being able to choose their Skylanders’ powers, abilities, catchphrases, appearance, names and much more. Kids can either think up their creations, or use a randomise feature in the game which helps to choose different parts for them.
2. You can transport your Skylanders using a Creation Crystal – Skylanders Imaginators introduces a new toy type known as a Creation Crystal. This allows players (otherwise known as Portal Masters) to create and transport their Skylanders to consoles wherever they are, whenever they like, to continue the game. Portal Masters can create one character for each Creation Crystal they have.
3. There are over 30 new Senseis to be discovered – There are plenty of new characters to be discovered in Skylanders Imaginators, 20 to be precise – plus 11 former villains. Known as Senseis, each new character is a master of one of 10 powerful ‘battle classes’, otherwise known as weapon wielding classifications. For example: a Brawler uses their fists at great speeds - though they may not use noteworthy weapons, they are associated with brass knuckles and gauntlets, while a Smasher will use their large and heavy weapons to attack foes at close range. Portal Masters can use their newly created Imaginator Skylanders alongside the Senseis to unleash new battle moves, unlock weapons and gain access to special areas of the game.
4. Players can enjoy a new storyline and gameplay experience – Skylanders Imaginators features an all-new adventure-filled, funny and charming story with entertaining new characters, as well as returning favourites from the franchise. For those looking to share the fun with a friend or family member, Skylanders Imaginators supports local co-op multiplayer. Portal Masters just need to place two Creation Crystals, two toys or a combination of the Crystals and toys on the Portal of Power, and they’re ready to go.
5. Core characters return – Skylanders Imaginators sees the return of a number of cult characters who make an appearance in the game. One of these is the notorious Crash Bandicoot - a gaming favourite since 1996. Originating from his own game series, Crash returns as a Life Brawler Sensei in Skylanders Imaginators. He is reckless and a little goofy, but heroic nonetheless and a sure favourite with fans of the franchise.

Now it’s up to Portal Masters (the players) to create Skylanders Imaginators from their own imagination and stop Kaos and his evil Doomlanders before it is too late. And to help train them, Master Eon (previously the leader of the Skylanders) is sending the greatest mystic warriors of all time to help – the Senseis!

Skylanders Imaginators is available now for Nintendo Wii U, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and will soon be available for new upcoming console, Nintendo Switch.
