The winner of Sharon Osbourne's U.S. TV show America's Got Talent has proposed to the woman he dedicated his victory to.
Singer Michael Grimm stunned his girlfriend Lucy during a taped appearance on Ellen DeGeneres' chat show on Thursday (16Sep10) by asking her to marry him.
Grimm told DeGeneres he dedicated his winning performance of When a Man Loves a Woman to his girlfriend of three years, prompting the host to ask the woman to join her onstage.
He said, "She's been there for me... Once you find that good woman you hang on to her."
The singer then got down on one knee and proposed. His thrilled girlfriend accepted.
The romantic moment will air on Friday's (17Sep10) Ellen show.
