Christina Maria Aguilera is an American singer-songwriter and television personality. Her career started at a young age when she appeared in several television shows as a child including the 1980’s talent show Star Search. In 1998, Christina signed with RCA Records and released her first self-titled album in 1999.
In 2000, she released a Spanish album and a Christmas album before releasing her album Stripped in 2002 under new management.
During the first decade of her career she quickly became a prominent figure in mainstream popular music and popular culture. She achieved international success with her first few albums and the success increased over the years.
She made her first film debut in the musical Burlesque in 2010 and since 2011 she has served as a coach on the American version of The Voice.
