David Beckham is missing out on Glastonbury this year.
The retired soccer star - who is a father to sons Brooklyn, 14, Romeo, 10, and Cruz, eight, as well as 22-month-old daughter Harper - had been planning to turn up the festival but changed his plans so he could spend the weekend with his wife, Victoria, and kids for some quality family bonding time.
Victoria and David have been busy hosting China's Central Television network as part of a goodwill tour promoting soccer and haven't had enough family time.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "David has been working really hard on ambassadorial duties in China and wanted a weekend to enjoy himself with some friends.
"He has never been to Glastonbury and was really up for some pear ciders now that he doesn't have to worry about pre-season training.
"But now he is back, he and Victoria decided to stay at home with the kids."
David's close friend Dave Gardner - who has contacts with Kate Moss' team and was romantically linked to Rita Ora before she started dating Calvin Harris - had been making arrangements to get the best tickets in town.
