Samira Wiley's wife has given birth to their first child.
The 'Handmaid's Tale' actress used Mother's Day on Sunday (09.05.21) to share a photo of daughter George Elizabeth and revealed she and Lauren Morelli welcomed the little girl into the world on 11 April.
Samira captioned her post: "Happy 1st Mother’s Day to my beautiful wife, who four weeks ago today after laboring for almost 3 days gave birth to our first child—our gorgeous daughter, George.[heart emoji]
"Welcome to the world, babygirl. We love you and we thank you for giving us the best 1st Mother’s Day two ladies could ask for.
"George Elizabeth

The 38-year-old writer shared the same picture on her own account.
She captioned it: "4 weeks ago today, our daughter came into the world and changed everything. We are so happy, so grateful, and so tired. George Elizabeth, 4.11.21 [heart emoji] (sic)"
Although the couple - who married in 2017 - hadn't publicly announced Lauren's pregnancy, Samira admitted in 2018 they were keen to have children together.
She said: "Yeah, we think about that! We are so happy, so in love."
The couple met on the set of 'Orange Is The New Black', on which Lauren worked as a writer and Samira played Poussey Washington.
They got together in 2014 following Lauren's split from her husband Steve Basilone after two years of marriage.
Lauren came out in May 2014 in a frank essay, where she opened up about how she realised she was gay while working on the show.
She wrote at the time: "I realised I was gay in fall 2012, one of my first days on the set. It wasn't so much one thing, but the sum of many small details: how uncomfortable I felt around groups of lesbians or how I considered myself a 'not very sexual person'.
"When considered alone, these seemed like little quirks that made me me. Wanting to read a book instead of have sex is a perfectly reasonable preference to have, right?"
