Jennifer Aniston will “absolutely not” try online dating.
The ‘Friends’ star is looking for love, but has said she will never join a dating app or online dating site to try and find her dream man, as she wants to “just stick to the normal ways of dating”.
When asked if she would ever e-date, she said: "Absolutely not. I'm going to just stick to the normal ways of dating. Having someone ask you out. That's the way I would prefer it."
Jennifer, 52, also said getting married for the third time is “not on [her] radar” after previously tying the knot with Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux.
The actress is “interested in finding a fantastic partner”, and doesn’t think her future romance needs to be “etched in stone in legal documents”.
She added to People magazine: "Oh God, I don't know. It's not on my radar. I'm interested in finding a fantastic partner and just living an enjoyable life and having fun with one another. That's all we should hope for. It doesn't have to be etched in stone in legal documents."
When Jennifer does start dating again, she’ll likely want to keep her romance out of the spotlight as much as possible, as her former husband Justin Theroux – whom she split with in 2017 after over two years of marriage – recently described public scrutiny of their relationship as “frustrating”.
He said: “You know, it's interesting. In ideal circumstances, you're known for what you do, or for the contributions you make in the arts, literature, movies, whatever. Even if it's a negative review, OK, that's fair play. But there are people who are only curious about the private lives of other people, and ... I think the best thing to do is to train your eyes away from it. It creates a preconceived notion of who you are that's inaccurate.
"It's frustrating, because you think, ‘Well, [novelist] John Updike doesn't have to put up with this s***, and he's in the public eye.'"
Justin, 49, and Jennifer first began dating in 2011, and when they revealed in early 2018 they had split several months previous, they acknowledged the public's fascination with their romance.
In a statement at the time, they said: "In an effort to reduce any further speculation, we have decided to announce our separation. This decision was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year. We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship.
“Normally we would do this privately, but given that the gossip industry cannot resist an opportunity to speculate and invent, we wanted to convey the truth directly. Whatever else is printed about us that is not directly from us, is someone else's fictional narrative."
