Lima dated Serbian NBA player Jaric for nine months before the pair got engaged in June 2008.

Lima is a strict Roman Catholic and in 2006 revealed that she was a virgin;

The couple got married in a private ceremony in Jackson Hole, Wyoming on 4th February 2009 and in May 2009, Lima applied for Serbian citizenship. According to People.com, they got married in secret.
They have two daughters together; Valentina , born on 15th November 2009 and Sienna, born on 12th September 2012.
Sadly on 2nd May 2014, the couple announced that they were separating after just five years of being married.
