Simon Cowell reportedly wants George Michael to become a judge on next year's 'The X Factor.'
The music mogul, 56, is desperate to persuade the legendary Wham singer, 52, to join the panel for the next series after bosses on 'The Voice' recently eyed him up for a mentoring gig on the rival show.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "George was a guest singer on the show in 2009 and Simon tried to get him for 'X Factor USA.' Maybe he can finally persuade him as 'The X Factor' has a track record for finding artists, while 'The Voice' still hasn't found a star in four years."
However, a spokesman for the programme added: "No discussions have been held yet on next year's series."
Meanwhile, viewers saw Louisa Johnson, 17, who was the favourite to win from the beginning, crowned the champion of the 'X Factor' 2015 last night (13.12.15) after she beat hip-hop duo Reggie 'N' Bollie to the title.
The blonde beauty - who is the youngest ever contestant to win the programme - is set to rake in more than £6 million over the course the next 12 months and is expected to follow in the footsteps of 2006 winner Leona Lewis.
And, despite missing out on the top spot last night, Reggie 'N' Bollie are convinced the loss doesn't mark the end of their journey as they're also planning to release a single.
