The new civilian series of Big Brother here in the UK promises to celebrate the ‘Best of British’, with a brand new eye for the show revealed. Giving a glimpse into what the theme this year will be all about, the eye is formed from a Union Jack of varying colours, with patchwork images of British landmarks and themes embedded. Returning to Channel 5, Emma Willis is back to host with Rylan Clark-Neal returning for Big Brother’s Bit On The Side, with a selection of paired housemates expected to enter the house in early June after applications were only accepted from duos.
Major changes have been made to the house for this year’s series, with the extra house rumoured to now be a task room. Now the bedroom and pool have been stripped out, with extra furnishings and additions made.
Clark-Neal previously teased: “There is something in the house I have been wanting for years, and it’s in there1”
“I was there not long ago and the house is SO different,” he added. “When we did the second house last year, that was a massive change for us, but I’m totally just disregarding that for the moment because what we’ve done in the main house is absolutely unbelievable. It’s unreal.
“I got lost looking at it, and I go into that house every single day, I walk around the camera runs and look at the housemates… But when I was looking at the plans, I couldn’t even work out why that was there or here.”
