Snoochie Shy’s mum wants to see her daughter win 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!'.
Kirsty Davide is backing the 29-year-old radio DJ to be crowned Queen of the Castle, but admits that no matter what, she is a winner in her eyes anyway.
Viewers have heard Snoochie’s ear-splitting screams as she has faced her phobias while taking part in a series of trials on the ITV show, and Kirsty admits she didn’t expect “anything less” from her daughter.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, she said: "Snoochie has always been a screamer and is basically petrified of anything that buzzes or crawls.
"However her biggest fear has always been heights, so to see her complete the first plank challenge was just incredible. My heart was in my mouth the whole way through, but typical Snoochie Style, she overcame it in spectacular form."
Kirsty spent quarantine with her daughter in Wales to help conquer her fears ahead of the show.
She said: "I was blessed to be able to travel to Wales with her for the isolation period.
"I didn’t give her advice as such because she knew what she was going into, but I did get her walking on the wall outside our little cottage trying to get over her fear of heights, much to the astonishment of our security guard, and yes ... lots of screaming was involved.
"I just told her to go in there and be herself and show the nation what a fearless beautiful woman she is both inside and out."
Snoochie and her fellow castle campmates returned to the show's base, Gwrych Castle, north Wales, yesterday (30.11.21) after they were forced to go back into quarantine over the weekend due to Storm Arwen wreaking havoc on the programme's set.
