Simon Webbe has confirmed he will take part in 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The Blue singer has revealed he's accepted the offer to appear on the BBC One celebrity dance contest later this year and hopes his 17-year-old daughter Alanah - from his relationship with ex-girlfriend Nicola Jones - will teach him a few moves to improve his chances of taking home the coveted glitterball trophy.
Speaking on 'Good Morning Britain', he said: "I am so happy to be joining the team and I cannot wait to get started.
"I'm hopeful that 'Strictly Come Dancing' will help me to improve on my daddy dancing skills. I want to make my daughter proud and no doubt she will be teaching me a pirouette or two along the day."
Simon is the sixth celebrity to confirm his place in the contest and he will be competing against The Saturdays singer Frankie Bridge, ex-rugby pro Thom Evans, 'This Morning' reporter Alison Hammond, 'EastEnders' actor Jake Wood and tennis ace Andy Murray's mum Judy.
'Strictly Come Dancing' will not be the 36-year-old star's first experience of reality television, however, as the 'All Rise' hitmaker took part in 'I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here' in 2008 and joined his bandmates - Lee Ryan, Antony Costa and Duncan James - on 'The Big Reunion' last year.
Simon also finished third in the 'Strictly Come Dancing' Christmas special in 2011 when he was partnered with professional dancer Katya Virshilas.
