Keith Lemon's sex scene on 'The Keith & Paddy Picture Show' took 50 attempts to perfect.
The 43-year-old funnyman and Paddy McGuinness are set to release a new five-part series in which the pair rope in their showbiz pals to recreate sketches from iconic Hollywood movies, including 1987's 'Dirty Dancing', 'Jaws', as well as parodies of 'Star Wars', 'Rocky' and 'Ghostbusters', although one intimate act took a lot longer to shoot than expected.
In an exclusive interview with BANG Showbiz after the screening of the show's first episode, which sees the dark-haired hunk play the role of dance instructor Johnny Castle in the romantic film (played by the late Patrick Swayze) whilst the 'Celebrity Juice' host portrays Frances 'Baby' Houseman (played by Jennifer Grey), Paddy said: "The love making scenes between Baby and Johnny - I know they showed the outtakes but that literally took 50 takes to do that, I just couldn't stop laughing, it was just a mad, mad thing to do.
"What you didn't see there was when we did the love making, it took a long time to do because when you're feel a middle-aged man's stomach slapping against your stomach."
Keith interrupted: "You're middle-aged too you know,"
Paddy continued: "It just wasn't the best."
However, Keith disagreed as he felt there was a "deep" connection between him and the 'Take Me Out' presenter.
He explained: "Referring back to Comic Relief, when we was rehearsing we said we're going to have to fall in love without touching each other's junk and then we think we fell in love again to do 'Dirty Dancing' and we had to, to a certain extent, because it's weird looking into someone who you know well right well. I don't like sucking d**k because I'm not in to that but no disrespect to anyone who does like chomping on them, but we looked into each others' eyes deep into the soul."
Paddy added: "It was interesting".
But that was not the only scene Paddy struggled with, as he has admitted he also found it tough getting to grips with mimicking Police Chief Martin Brody in the parody of the American 1974 thriller.
When asked which character was most challenging to pull off, he explained: "Probably Chief Brody ['Jaws'] because I had to try and perfect an accent that I couldn't do. We both knew we couldn't do a really good American accent and we just tried to busk it as best as we could."
'The Keith and Paddy Picture Show' will make its debut on ITV on Tuesday (06.05.7) at 9.15pm on ITV.
