Gethin Anthony met his end during the first season of Game of Thrones, and has spoken about recent storylines which have seen both of his on-screen partners - Margaery Tyrell (Natalie Dormer) and her brother Loras (Finn Jones) - imprisoned by religious cult The Sparrows.

Speaking to USA Today, he said: "When they arrested Margaery and Loras, I was saying, 'My queen! My man! Are you kiddin gme? I'm getting angry."
Nowadays following his exit from the series, he watches as a fan rather than spoiling the surprise of what's to come.
"I let the weeks go by and then I mini-binge. I now get to watch it as the audience does and it's really fun. I stopped asking what's coming up a couple of years ago. I can experience the shock and sometimes the depression and sadness with everyone else."
Chatting about being on the popular fantasy drama he added: "It was such an extraordinary experience and I made so many good friends on that show. It was just like an adventure from start to finish. I'm very grateful for the time I had on it."
Anthony currently stars in new NBC drama Aquarius as the murderous Charles Manson, airing Thursdays at 9pm ET/PT.
