Eric Close will not be returning to the fourth season of Nashville it has been revealed, after he starred for three seasons as key original cast member Teddy Conrad on the ABC series.

Though he's now not going to be a series regular on the show, guest appearances are not being ruled out according to TV Line.
Those who watch the show will remember how Teddy faced dire consequences after trying to bribe a prostitute with political funds at the end of the third season.
Nashville will return for season 4 later this year in the fall.
