Aidan Gillen is set to star in 'Peaky Blinders'.
The 48-year-old actor will join the cast of the BBC Two crime drama, alongside Adrien Brody, Tom Hardy and Cillian Murphy, for the fourth season of the popular programme, according to Deadline.
However, details of the 'Game of Thrones' star - who is known for playing the role Petry 'Littlefinger' Baelish' in the American drama series - including what character he will play has yet to be confirmed.
It is rumoured the full cast have already begun shooting scenes for the next installment in Liverpool.
Charlotte Riley, who appeared as Cillian Murphy's on-screen former lover May Carleton in the production, is set to return to for the forthcoming follow-up after she left the show in the second season, although it is unknown how she will react to the news Cillian - who plays Tommy Shelby - has married Grace Burgess (Annabelle Wallis).
And film director David Caffrey - who is known for working on productions such as 'Line of Duty' and 'Grand Theft Parsons'- will also be on hand as part of the creative team to help direct the forthcoming series.
Meanwhile, the show's creator, Steven Knight, has admitted he is proud of the programme because he believes it is made up of a "dream team".
He said: "We have a dream team gathered for series four of 'Peaky Blinders', coming to us for love of the series which is great. Adrien Brody, Aidan Gillen and Charlie Murphy give us a wealth of talent to work with. And with Tom Hardy and Charlotte Riley returning, we couldn't have hoped for more."
And it has been reported a fifth season of 'Peaky Blinders' has also been confirmed.
