Britain's Zara Phillips is refusing to give up horse-riding in her pregnancy.

The eldest granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth - who is an Olympic silver medallist in eventing - got back in the saddle at the The Festival of British Eventing over the weekend, where she rode to set the standard for the dressage tests and not as a competitor.

The 32-year-old blonde was also seen lugging poles around and chasing after horses at the Lawn Horse Trials in Windsor Great Park on Monday (05.08.13), despite being pregnant with her husband Mike Tindall's baby.

An onlooker told the MailOnline: "She was out there getting her hands dirty for a good seven or eight hours in some atrocious conditions. You really wouldn't have thought she was pregnant.

"Say what you like about the royals, but Zara is clearly no snob. She definitely isn't the type to sit around drinking tea."

While Zara has announced her intention to quit the risky sport for the sake of the baby's health, she is reluctant to give up her passion in private.

A source close to the royal said: "It's business as usual at the yard as far as she is concerned and Zara will continue to ride."

Zara is expected to return to eventing as soon as possible after giving birth, with a view to training for the 2016 Brazil Olympics team.
