The Countess of Wessex presented the winning trophy at Ascot's Christmas horse racing meeting at the weekend.
Sophie was joined by her husband Prince Edward and their two children, Lady Louise Windsor and James, as she presented the prize in a green and grey plaid coat, which was complete with a magenta velvet collar and matching buttons.
The 48-year-old royal appeared to be at ease as she laughed and joked with Louise, who was dressed in a glamorous trench coat.
Meanwhile, James - who turned six last Tuesday - looked smart in a blue shirt, which he wore under a navy jumper.
The family's appearance at Ascot came just a day after Peter and Autumn Phillips took their daughters, Savannah, two, and Isla, one, to the races.
Meanwhile, the British royals are expected to gather at Sandringham, in Norfolk, where they will spend Christmas together.
The Queen and Prince Philip have already arrived at the estate and have reportedly invited the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge along with their son Prince George to join in the festivities.
