Shinedown are set to support Disturbed on their upcoming October UK Tour by way of introduction to this side of the Atlantic. The band will also release album The Sound Of Madness, produced by multiple Grammy Award-winner Rob Cavallo, in the UK early next year. The record debuted at Number 8 on the Billboard 200 in the US this month. The first single to be taken from the album Devour will be released prior to the album in December.The Jacksonville, Florida-based fivesome exploded onto the US rock scene in 2003 with their RIAA platinum-certified breakthrough debut, Leave A Whisper. 2005 saw the release of second album Us and Them. This RIAA gold-certified collection was highlighted by blockbuster, Save Me which dominated Active Rock radio in the US holding the number one spot for a stunning twelve consecutive weeks. This was followed by two further Top 5 hits Heroes and I Dare You. From the outset, Shinedown have proven to be true road warriors, touring non-stop to bring their hard-edged rock n roll to fans across the US.
