Singer Rob Grill has died at the age of 67.

He passed away at a Florida hospice facility on Monday.

The star suffered a stroke and a subsequent head injury and fell into a coma in California earlier this year.

Grill was the lead singer of the 1960s American pop band The Grass Roots, which made hits of Let's Live for Today, Wait A Million Years and Midnight Confessions.
