Whilst 27-year-old crooner Danyl Johnson remains the bookies 2/1 favourite following the second round of auditions for this year’s X-Factor finals, however Danyl looks set for some serious competition in the shape of Jamie “Afro” Archer who blew the audience and judges away on Saturday night with his electric version of the Kings of Leon hit “Sex on Fire”.
Paddy Power have installed 32 year-old Jamie as their 5/2 second favourite closely followed by Trinidad & Tobago native Rozelle Phillip whose powerful version of Jennifer Hutsons “One Night Only” wooed the judges and resulted in her odds of 5/1 to win this year's series.
Other acts debuting in Paddy Power’s X-Factor betting this week include the all girl threesome “The Misfits” at odds of 12/1 and colourful singing Muslim mouthpiece, Behrouz Ghaemi, at 50/1.
Paddy Power said “After only two X-Factor shows it already looks like one of the strongest line-ups ever. Danyl is the one punters are backing in these early stages but The Misfits are the act that I'll be keeping my eye on"
