Amy Winehouse might have taken her time in doing so, but she has finally apologised for attacking a theatre manager when she was drunk last year.
The singer - who we all know finds it hard to just ‘have one’ when it comes to the booze - has promised a court that she'd made changes to her life, and that she was very sorry for assaulting Richard Pound at a Milton Keynes theatre.
The whole thing kicked off after Richard refused to serve her anymore alcohol, which obviously didn‘t go down to well with ole Wine-O, especially when he suggested she had a drink of water instead of vodka!
Anyway, when he asked her to leave the theatre she responded by punching him and pulling his hair. Nice. But yesterday, speaking on behalf of the singer, her lawyer explained; "She has now made huge changes to her lifestyle. She did apologise profusely and she reiterates her apology today."
Amy was given a two-year conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 costs and £100 compensation.
