Indian-born, Singapore-based singer/songwriter Druv Kent is back this week with his brand new single 'What It's All About', and Female First can today exclusively reveal the accompanying music video for the track.
Directed by TED Fellow filmmaker Puneet Rakheja, the visuals are shot and presented entirely in black and white and tell a gorgeous story that's best put in Kent's own words.
Writing about the song in the video's description, Kent explains: "Love is far from perfect. But, it's still what makes our daily lives worth living.
"This is a song I wrote to the world's most beautiful young lady who captured my heart at first sight - literally - about how our love has changed since we first met a few years ago. And how we too have changed. And endured. Maybe, this is what it's all about."
The song itself was recorded at London's famous Miloco Studios following pre-production from Tim Bradshaw (John Mayer, David Gray). Further big names working on the record include music director Calum MacColl (Ronan Keating), drummer Clive Deamer (Radiohead), Simon Edwards on bass and production (Fairground Attraction) and Oasis keyboardist Mikey Rowe.
Following on from the success of BBC Radio 2 favourites 'Little Bit of God' and 'Glitter & Dynamite', Kent will be hoping to replicate the hype surrounding those songs and go even further with this track. Hearing the single and seeing the gorgeous video that runs alongside it is the first step in the right direction for that exact result.
'What It's All About' is officially released on November 18 via Kent's own record label, distributed by Horus Music UK.
