Lostprophets - Betrayed (The New Album)
Lostprophets are a funny old band aren’t they? Back in the Start Something days they were the favourite of all the teeny bopper rock kids, with Last Train Home and Last Summer being the anthems to many a white lightening-fuelled six week holiday.
Then, as Indie-Rock bands like The Killers and Franz Ferdinand started to get some recognition in the charts, Ian Watkins and his posse decided to change their sound completely and dress up like Indie posers for the Liberation Transmission music videos.
But now it seems they’re back on form with their epic new single, Where We Belong, which isn’t released until January 4th, but is already in my diary for an iTunes download, and I am pretty sure it should be in yours too.
Whilst it’s clearly getting Radio One airplay due to Mr Watkins’ links with Fearne Cotton, we all love it here at FemaleFirst, and have our fingers crossed that Santa will bring us tickets to their Manchester show on February 25.
