Vodka Protest Against Combs Fails
Beverage Boss M.J. Silver has failed in his attempt to exact revenge on Sean 'Diddy' Combs over disparaging comments the rap mogul made about rival vodka brands.
Combs owns a 50 per cent stake in French vodka label Ciroc and recently told New York partygoers, "If you're not drinking Ciroc vodka, then you're drinking pee pee."
His remark caused controversy among the drinks industry and vodka tycoon Silver, who owns the Georgi Argent brand, waged war against Combs during a press conference in the Big Apple's Times Square on Thursday (25Mar10).
Silver called for fellow vodka aficionados to protest Combs and attempted to humiliate him by delivering a large toilet bowl filled with Ciroc to the hip-hop star's record label headquarters in Manhattan.
But Silver's plans were foiled by Combs' security team who refused to allow him into the building.
N-Dubz Star Stole From Bandmate's Father
British hip-hop star Richard 'Fazer' Rawson was once caught stealing from his N-Dubz bandmate's father.
The rapper formed the band with his childhood pal Dino 'Dappy' Contostavlos, but admits their friendship was once rocked by his bad behaviour.
Rawson has revealed his friend's parents were warned to keep their son away from his new pal when they first starting spending time together at the age of 12, and he fuelled their mistrust when he was caught swiping a cell phone from the family's home.
He explains, "I remember the first day I went to Dappy's house to meet his mum and dad. Byron (Dappy's father) said to me, 'I've been told not to let my son hang around with you, but I won't stop you. Don't you get my son into no s**t, though.'
"Then I went and stole his phone. I saw the phone lying the side when he left the room and I just pocketed it. He came in and was cursing, 'Where's my phone, you little s**t?' He pulled another phone out of his pocket and dialled a number and his phone started ringing in my pocket."
But Rawson was stunned when Contostavlos' dad offered to give him the phone, and admits he never behaved badly around the family again.
He adds, "He said, 'If you can't get your own then I will give it to you, if that's the only way.' I didn't take it, but from then on I never took the p**s with him again."
