An all-star voice cast come together for upcoming family flick Monster Family, based on David Safier’s best-selling children’s novel of the same name. Featuring an unhappy family who are constantly attacking one another and facing pressure from all angles, the film sees an evil witch curse them and transform them into the monsters they’ve dressed up as for a party. Forced to overcome their differences, they’ll have to work together to take on real-life monsters, reverse the curse and prove that even a ‘Monster Family’ can become one big happy family unit.
Today, we’ve got our hands on a brilliant and exclusive preview clip from the movie, which sees the family in search of the family matriarch! Emily Watson, Jason Isaacs, Nick Frost, Jessica Brown Findlay, Celia Imrie and Catherine Tate make up the incomparable voice cast for the movie, with Holger Tappe serving as director and working off a screenplay from David Safier and Catharina Junk.
The film’s UK release has been a long-time coming, with Monster Family first released in Germany all the way back on August 24, 2017. A release in the United States followed last month on February 9, 2018, but thankfully tomorrow we’ll all be able to tune in and check out if this monstrous movie could be an instant family classic!
Monster Family will be available in cinemas and on Sky Cinema from Friday, March 2, 2018.
