Michael B. Jordan is believed to be in talks to star in a second Independence Day movie.
There has been plenty of talk about an Independence Day sequel in recent months, but it seems that things are now moving along.
Jordan has been meeting with director Roland Emmerich and, according to The Wrap, is the favourite for the lead role.
The new movie is set to be called ID Forever Part 1 and will come almost twenty years after the release of the first film back in 1996.
Will Smith had been linked with the project, but it seems that he will not be returning to the role of Captain Steven Hiller.
We last saw Jordan on the big screen in Fruitvale Station and he has also completed work on That Awkward Moment.
That Awkward Moment is a comedy/romance movie that sees him star alongside Zac Efron and Miles Teller.
