Joss Whedon has described the rumour of a Planet Hulk movie as 'nonsense'.
Work on Phase 3 of Marvel movies is set to get underway and it was believed that the Hulk may be getting his own stand alone film.
While a Hulk solo movie is still a possibility the Greg Pak storyline is not being brought to the big screen.
Whedon told IGN: "Well, I'm really not supposed to comment on it but no, that's nonsense."
We see phase 2 get underway this year with Iron Man, Thor: The Dark World and Captain America: The Winter Soldier released or go into production.
A script for a second Avengers film as well as movies for Ant Man and possibly Doctor strange will see phase 3 commence.
Whedon revealed earlier this week that he has begun work on the script for Avengers 2 and it will focus on the relationships between the characters.
We see Iron Man return to the big screen in May for the third stand alone film for the character.
