Vivienne De Courcy is a filmmaker making her feature film directorial debut this summer as Dare To Be Wild is set to hit the big screen.
Summer 2016 is set to be a great one for female directors and De Courcy is just one to watch out for. As well as being in the director's chair, she has also penned the film's screenplay.
Emma Greenwell and Tom Hughes are set to take on the central roles of Mary Reynolds and Christy Collard and feature in these great new images from the film. Take a look:
A great cast has been assembled as Alex Mcqueen, Janie Dee, Christine Marzano, Alaa Safi, and Michael Hough all star alongside Greenwell and Hughes.
Dare To Be Wild follows Mary Reynolds' adventures from the green hills of Ireland, to the desert highlands of Ethiopia, to London's Chelsea for the garden design competition of 2002.
Dare To Be Wild is the against-all-odds story of a modern-day heroine, whose quest is to show the world the power of the wild nature as she reaches for her dreams- one garden, one vast desert, at a time.
The heart of this true romantic adventure is Mary Reynolds' quest to win the gold medal at the 2002 Chelsea Flower Show with her 'wild' Celtic Sanctuary garden design.
The movie has already been playing well on the festival circuit - winning the Audience Award at the Dublin International Film Festival - and looks set to be something a little different to the blockbusters this summer.
Dare To Be Wild is released 26th August.
