Dan Stevens has called Liam Neeson a 'total pro' and loved working with him.
Stevens teams up with Neeson for the first time in new thriller A Walk Among The Tombstones, which hits the big screen this week.
Stevens is set to play a drug dealer whose wife is kidnapped and killed - he calls on Neeson's character to find out who was responsible.
Speaking to Collider, the actor said: "Liam leads a great set. He takes the work very seriously. He’s a total pro, shows up very cool, gets the job done.
"But also, I like his way of working. He has a lightness off camera which keeps everyone in the right place.
"It’s a very dark film, and if we were to inhabit that the whole time, it could be a lot tougher than it was. He’s a great guy to work with."
A Walk Among The Tombstones is an adaptation of the novel by Lawrence Block, and sees Scott Frank back in the director's chair.
It has been a busy month for Stevens with The Guest also hitting the big screen. He will be back at the end of the year when he plays Sir Lancelot in Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb.
A Walk Among The Tombstones is released 19th September.
