Cars 3 is another Pixar movie that is in the pipeline and two pieces of great new concept art have been revealed.

Cars 3 is all set to set to hit the big screen next summer and, while nothing about the plot is known, USA Today have released two pieces of concept art from the film:
It was back in 2006 - yes, it really was ten years ago - when we were introduced to Lightning McQueen and co for the first time. Cars 2 followed in 2011 and both movies have been a big success for Pixar.
Next summer sees Lightning McQueen return with his trusty friend Mater - once again voiced by Owen Wilson and Larry the Cable Guy.
While we know that there are going to be some great new characters involved, Pixar is keeping quiet about them and the actors that they have on board to bring them to life.
Brian Fee is in the director's chair for the film in what will be his feature film directorial debut.
He is no stranger to the world of Pixar, having worked as a storyboard artist on the likes of Cars , Wall-E and Cars 2 in recent years.
So far, the Cars franchise has grossed over $1 billion at the global box office from two movies... it doesn't come as a surprise that a third film is in the pipeline.
As for Pixar, Finding Dory is set to hit the big screen this summer - it will be the studio's first and only film to be released last year.
2015 was a very successful year for Pixar with the release of Inside Out and The Good Dinosaur and Finding Dory promises to be another huge hit.
Cars 3 is released 16th June 2017.
