Krysten Ritter has joined Tim Burton's 'Big Eyes'.
The 31-year-old actress - who starred in 'Breaking Bad' - will play DeeAnn alongside Amy Adams and Christoph Waltz in the upcoming biopic drama, and has admitted it's a dream come true to work with the famed director on the movie.
Taking to Twitter, she wrote: "Over the moon!! It's been a dream to work with Tim Burton! Dream big kiddies! (sic)"
The film sees a woman named Margaret (Adams) produce artwork of wide-eyed children, which became a sensation in the 1950s and '60s, but after splitting from husband Walter Keane (Waltz), she ends up in a legal battle in which Walter insists he is responsible for some of the brush strokes, and is therefore the owner of the work.
However, free-spirited DeAnn encourages Margaret to come out of her shell, stand up for herself and claim what is rightfully hers.
'Big Eyes' will be funded and distributed by The Weinstein Company, with filming set to begin this summer.
Ritter's previous roles include TV comedy 'Don't Trust the B***h in Apartment 23' and the big screen adaptation of 'Confessions of a Shopaholic', which starred Isla Fisher.
