Christopher Nolan has revealed that he is tired of Batman 3 casting rumours.
After the huge success of The Dark Knight back in the summer of 2008, it took over $1 billion at the box office, Nolan and co are gearing up for a stab at a third movie.
While Nolan in the director's chair did look in doubt for a while everyone breathed a sigh of relief when he announced that he would be returning and David Goyer is already working on a script.
But with a project as big as batman 3 comes the inevitable gossip of who Batman will face this time around, Nolan has already stated that the Joker would not be re-cast, and who will play them.
The role of The Riddler is something that has long since been speculated upon with Eddie Murphy and Johnny Depp the early frontrunners for the role.
But last week it was revealed that Joseph Gordon Levitt, who stars in Nolan's new movie Inception, is also a potential for the role.
There has also been talk of Catwoman being including in the plot with names such as Angelina Jolie, Megan Fox and Cher being banded about.
But all this talk is beginning to annoy director Nolan. He told ContactMusic: "The studio called me and said: ‘Why did you cast Cher?’ It’s clear they had been reading things online.
"At a very early stage after taking on Batman I realised it wasn’t going to be helpful to read what people were saying online. I don’t really look at the internet. I don’t even e-mail - it gives me more time to think."
