Ice Age is one of the biggest animation franchises of recent years and the fifth film is set to hit UK cinemas in the form of Ice Age: Collision Course.
It was back in 2002 when we were introduced to the characters of Sid, Manny and Diego for the first time and Ice Age: Continental Drift in 2012 was the last time we saw them on the big screen.
John Leguizamo Ray Romano, and Denis Leary reunite to voice the central characters of Sid, Manny, and Diego and it is great to see this trio of great actors back together again.
You can seem them in action in this terrific new trailer for the film. Check it out:
Leguizamo, Romano, and Leary are not the only familiar voices returning as Seann William Scott, Josh Peck, Simon Pegg, Wanda Sykes, Jennifer Lopez, and Queen Latifah are also back.
Stephanie Beatriz, Adam Devine, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Max Greenfield, Jessie J, and Nick Offerman are some of the great new names that have been added to the star-studded cast list.
Mike Thurmeier is back in the director's chair for the film and is no stranger to the franchise with Continental Drift and Dawn of the Dinosaurs already under his belt. This time around, he is teaming up with Galen T. Chu, who is making his feature film directorial debut.
Scrat's epic pursuit of the elusive acorn catapults him into the universe where he accidentally sets off a series of cosmic events that transform and threaten the Ice Age World.
To save themselves, Sid, Manny, Diego, and the rest of the herd must leave their home and embark on a quest full of comedy and adventure, travelling to exotic new lands and encountering a host of colourful new characters.
Ice Age: Collision Course is released this summer.
