Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy

Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy

Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy is the latest John Le Carre movie to be adapted for the big screen, I was a big fan of The Constant Gardener, and the movie is packed with British talent.

It won't be long until the blockbuster season is over and we can look forward to some really great movies hitting the big screen.

And it looks like Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy is going to be one of the those movies - it's a good old fashioned spy movie.

The cast list is to die for as Gary Oldman, Colin Firth, Tom Hardy, John Hurt, Mark Strong and Benedict Cumberbatch - told you it was great British talent on show - band together to bring the Peter Morgan script to life.

Based on the classic novel of the same name, the international thriller is set at the height of the Cold War years of the mid-20th Century.

George Smiley (Gary Oldman), a disgraced British spy, is rehired in secret by his government - which fears that the British Secret Intelligence Service, a.k.a. MI-6, has been compromised by a double agent working for the Soviets.

It looks like Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy is going to be one of the early must see movies of the autumn - as Oscar season, yes we are talking about that already, gets underway.

We have the first trailer for the movie for you to take a look at.

Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy is released 16th September.
