Final Destination 5
Final Destination is a horror franchise that has spanned over decade and now five movies - in that time a whole host have met a somewhat grisly demise after failing to die when planned.
So to celebrate the release of the fifth movie in the franchise we take a look at some of the deaths over the years.
Terry Chaney: Final Destination 1
Amanda Detmer took on the role of Terry back in 2000 alongside Ali Larter and Devon Sawa.
The youngsters were supposed to die in a plane crash until Alex Browning's vision of death prevents them from taking the flight. But death is never so easily avoided.
William Hitchcock Final Destination 1
Seann William Scott's character Bill Hitchcock was one of the lucky few who's life was saved by Browning rather disturbing vision. However that luck didn't last too long as he, quite literally, loses his head.
Evan Lewis Final Destination 2
In the sequel three years later a handful more are set to die in a freeway accident in Kimberley's vision.
She jumps into action and blocks the freeway - preventing the accident and keeping everyone alive. The moral of this clip is always throw left over food in the bin and not out the window!!
Erin Ulmer Final Destination 3
In Final Destination a group of youngsters should have died on a rollercoaster but, once again, a vision saves the day. However Erin Ulmer, played by Alexz Johnson, meets a rather grim end it has to be said.
Ashley & Ashlyn - Final Destination 3
Beware, beware the dangers of the sunbed as Ashley & Ashlyn, played by Chelan Simmons and Crystal Lowe, ended up with a killer tan.
Final Destination 5
This week the popular franchise returns this week and survivors of a suspension-bridge collapse learn there's no way you can cheat Death. Final Destination 5 is released 26th August.
