300: Rise of an Empire is now just a week away from hitting the big screen, and is set to be one of the March movies not to miss.
300: Rise of an Empire is the highly anticipated sequel to 300, as Frank Millers graphic novel Xerxes is adapted for the big screen.
And to celebrate that there is just a week to go until we get to see this movie in all of its splendour, Warner Bros have released a series of fantastic new images to wet your appetite
There are a mix of familiar and new faces on the cast list this time around, as Noam Murro takes over the director's chair from Zack Snyder.
However, Snyder is still heavily involved in the film, having penned the screenplay and served as producer.
Lena Headey is back as Queen Gorgo, while Rodrigo Santoro and David Wenham are also back as Xerxes and Dilios.
You should also watch out for Eva Green, Sullivan Stapleton and Jack O'Connell as they are set to play new characters Artemisia, Themistocles and Calisto.
This new chapter of the epic saga takes the action to a fresh battlefield - on the sea - as Greek general Themistokles attempts to unite all of Greece by leading the charge that will change the course of the war.
300: Rise of an Empire pits Themistokles against the massive invading Persian forces led by mortal-turned-god Xerxes, and Artemisia, vengeful commander of the Persian navy.
Much like its predecessor, 300: Rise of an Empire looks set to be a visual treat and I am looking forward to see where this new chapter takes us.
300: Rise of an Empire is released 7th March.
