Victoria Beckham works the zip trend
Zips are everywhere at the moment and the celeb pack are quick to get on the act.
Katy Perry has been snapped in a gorgeous brown zip front dress and Victoria Beckham and Jennifer Lopez stepped out together in zip backed dresses by Marc Jacobs at his SS09 show at New York Fashion Week.
Victoria has even incorporated zips into her own fashion line. Each of the ten dresses in The Victoria Beckham Collection feature a full-length gold zip in the back, running from the nape of the neck to behind the knee.
Since Victoria's range is a bit out of our price range we've picked our favourite zip back dresses on the high street.
Primark have a fabulous bright orange, zip front dress for just £14.
The dress even incorporates the tulip skirt trend to make it super flattering.
French Connection's offering is this strapless dress with stand out zip on the back, £75.
It comes in a selection of colours and pattern but we think classic black is best, plus Hayden Panittiere has also worn the black version!
At the higher end of the price scale All Saints's Beaujolais dress, £90 has a corseted top with the all important zip back.
The bubble skirt balances out the tight fitting top.
When wearing a zip dress keep everything else zip free, you don't want to look like a Hell's Angel!
Also keep front zips fully done up, an undone zip cleavage is a no-no unless your channeling Jodie Marsh.
Finally, make sure it fits. Squeezing into a too small size could end in a very embarrassing zip bursting situation.
