Gail Porter is excited about London Fashion Week
Gail Porter will be working with Fashion Plus Magazine during London Fashion Week next week as their celebrity guest editor.
This will be her debut in the fashion industry and offers an exciting opportunity for up-and-coming designers, who will have the opportunity to dress Gail in their garments throughout the week.
Gail’s role will involve attending catwalks and presentations, meeting designers and getting stuck into the world of fashion. The Fashion Plus Magazine team will be wearing clothing from their garment sponsors Goodwin Smith (men’s shoes) and TDW Clothing, among other emerging talents.
Gail Porter says: “This is a totally new thing for me and something different. It’s going to be exciting to work with emerging up-and-coming designers and see what’s on trend. It’s an important step for both Fashion Plus Magazine but also, I think for Scotland, as previously we’ve focused mostly on the manufacturing and materials used, rather than the fashion. It’ll be interesting to work in such a fast-paced environment and celebrate the creative talent London is home to. I’m looking forward to it!”
