Naomi Campbell is taking her Fashion Relief to India and will take part in a catwalk show for victims of the Mumbai terrorist attacks in November.
Naomi started Fashion For Relief in 2004 to show the creativity and generosity of the fashion community in times of need. She will walk in the Mai Mumbai show as part of Lakme Fashion Week on March 28th.
As well as Indian designers a host of international names will take part including YSL, Roberto Cavalli, Matthew Williamson, Donna Karan, Versace, Diane Von Furstenburg and Manolo Blahnik. The clothes from the show will be donated to charity to auction.
Naomi told the Times of India: "Fashion is personal and touches everyone in some way or the other and I hope through ‘Fashion for Relief’ we can pay a tribute to the victims of 26/11."
Naomi may have a reputation as a nightmare diva but it's nice to know when it comes to helping those in need she is keen to do her bit.
