Kristen Stewart has gone from an awkward teenager to a refined and confident young woman on the red carpet.
She's blossomed in front of the cameras as she's portrayed Bella Swan in the Twilight saga films.
And this year she's won Glamour's Best Dressed of the Year Award.
We take a look at her fashion choices through the years.
In 2009 she attended the MTV Movie Awards channeling a very grungy look.
She paired her red and black printed dress with a pair of black high-top Converse.
Not the look most movie starlets would have opted for on the red carpet, but Kristen's attitude makes it work for her.
She kept to the theme of the look by wearing her tousled and plenty of black eye liner.
At the Twilight Saga New Moon fan event in London in 2010 the young actress opted for a Proenza Schouler Spring 2010 ensemble.
The clashing prints were a bold choice, but it totally paid off.
I just remember being totally out off by her shoe choice - a pair of plain black pumps.
Why she didn't opt for a pair of strappy sandals I couldn't tell you.
But I suppose it's a better choice than a pair of Converse.
At the Elle Style Awards in 2010 she came a little out of her shell.
Her Emilio Pucci Fall 2009 mini dress with embellished bodice was just the right amount of cool and style.
She paired the dress with Bally Amantea criss-cross ankle strap sandals.
Again, a hug improvement in the shoe department.
She was at the ceremony to pick up the Woman of the Year Award - and so it started the frenzy around the star.
She later added a leather jacket to the look and managed to look even more comfortable whilst being pictured.
A year later at the MTV Movie Awards and the actress looks like a different person.
Her Dolce & Gabbana dress was edgy, with gold brocade and tweed detailing.
The mini dress showed off her toned legs perfectly, and it's a style that she has since worn on plenty of occassions.
Stick to your strengths.
Throughout all of the pictures from the event, she was happy and smiling and looked a whole lot more comfortable in front of the cameras.
She paired the look with another pair of criss-cross sandals, this time from Vicini.
Simple accessories, a gold necklace and a black bracelet, completed the look.
In June 2010 the actress was pictured attending a screening of the Twilight Eclipse movie with her co-star Taylor Lautner.
I absolutely loved this RM by Roland Mouret Fall 2010 dress.
The short hemline was balanced with the long sleeves and she managed to make it look young and appropriate at the same time.
I loved the new hair colour and her braided updo.
It was such a refreshing change from her grungy, never-been-washed hairstyle she'd been championing for quite some time.
Simple black pumps made sure that there was no distraction from the beautiful detailing on the dress.
Pictured on the left with her Twilight co-stars at the LA premiere of the Eclipse movie, she opted for a white Elie Saab Fall 2009 Couture dress.
The one sleeve embroidered mini-dress had a cutout detail at the back.
She thankfully wore her hair up to show off the full detailing of the dress.
Christian Louboutin heels completed the look.
I just wish she'd have gotten a bit of colour, to truly contrast the dress with her skin. At times it manages to blend together.
And this has to be the happiest I have ever seen the actress look infront of the camera.
Her Balamin leather dress was covered in safety pins, studs and stars. It came from the brands Spring 2011 collection and was only presented as a jacket on the runway.
Thankfully it was made into a dress for the actress because you can tell that she is really enjoying wearing this.
Black pumps and volumious hair do completed the look, and let's not forget the mega watt smile. No jewellery was needed because of the heavy embellishment of the
dress.
I'm still dying to know how much this dress actually weighed.
She most certainly likes to stick to a formula on the red carpet.
Another Balmain strapless mini dress was chosen for the Glamour Woman of the Year Awards in 2011.
It may be a pretty print, but it's nothing in comparison to her leather dress.
A similar hair do, no jewellery and a smoky eye was paired with the look.
Which she finished with a pair of grey Giuseppe Zanotti suede peep-toes.
In November 2011, Kristen was joined by her Twilight co-stars, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner for the Hand and Foot print ceremony in Hollywood.
She opted for a Marios Schwab Spring 2012 dress, which she paired with Brian Atwood Marcella velvet pumps with a pin heel.
The nude dress featured a Swarovski crystal net overlay and patent leather detailing.
The look was a refreshing change from the Bandeau dresses she had been favouring.
During the ceremony she changed into a pair of checkered Keds for the footprint part, showing us what her street style is actually like.
Her brunette hair was swept to one side, with plenty of movement and minimal makeup completed the pretty look.
In November last year the actress turned into a young woman at the Breaking Dawn Part 1 premiere in LA.
Her J. Mendel gown was a perfect choice and she looked radiant wearing it.
The sexy gown featured a thigh high split to show off those enviable legs.
She wore her hair in a sophisticated updo to show off the full detail of the gown.
Cat eyes only further enhanced the sultry style of the look and she finished it with a pair of peep toe shoes.
She'd never looked better on the red carpet.
When it came to the London premiere of the film, the actress showed that she would no longer be fading into the background with her fashion choices.
Her Roberto Cavalli Spring 2012 gown was just on the right side of gothic.
The black embellished gown was paired with a Alexander McQueen belt which highlighted her tiny waist.
She paired the look with black peep-toes and jet black hair which was swept to the one side.
This was another sexy look from the actress.
And we only have more to come, what with the eminent release of Snow White and the Huntsman, The Road and the final part of Breaking Dawn released this year we will have plenty of red carpet pictures to pour over.
Which is your favourite look?
