Zooey Deschanel is most definitely a style icon worthy of appearing in our hall of fame, especially since we saw some thrilling pics of her quirky style at the UK premiere of new film, Yes Man.
Her look is pretty unique and cool, channeling past style icons such as Jackie O and Audrey Hepburn, as well as putting her own unique twist into all of her looks.
She looks great in short sixties shifts, as well as more standard designer pieces. She also likes to experiment with colour and clashing unusual styles together, which will stand her in great stead for next Spring's trends.
We loved her look at the premiere last week in London, when she teamed a strapless black puff ball dress, with embellished hemline together with a red bag and piled her hair up in a smart up-do.
She resembled Katy Perry a little bit, which is by no means a bad thing considering she is also getting style praise heaped on her at present too.
However, we are tempted to say that Katy may have copied Zooey's style, as she's been around for a lot longer and has had more chance to develop her own style identity.
Her recent appearances with both jewelled and bow headbands have cemented her as a style icon in our eyes, not to mention her cute flirtation with vintage white lace, teamed with black tights and heels that she recently sported too.
After being pictured with the likes of Sarah Jessica Parker and Marc Jacobs, she's already in fine fashion company, so we think it's only a matter of time until she's picked up by a fashion house to front a campaign of some sorts.
