Lily Cole
Lily Cole has been off our fashion radar for a few months now, ever since she disappeared to go and do her degree at Cambridge University.
That said, the flame-haired supermodel caused quite a stir last month when pictures of her surfaced posing naked for renowned lads mag, Playboy.
Our lovely Lil shocked the world as she posed in pigtails, dolly shoes and a giant teddy bear to cover her modesty. We personally thought the photos were pretty tongue-in-cheek and loved the retro look they had given Lily.
All this aside the gorgeous model has a great sense of style both on and off the catwalk, which is why she has been named as a FemaleFirst Style Icon.
This prestigious award goes to Lily because despite the some of the negative comments, which are sometimes made about being a redhead, and a pale one at that, Lily looks stunning and is often admired and in-demand for her unique look.
She was snapped up as the new face of Marks and Spencer for the new Winter campaign, alongside celebrity regulars Erin O'Connor, Myleene Klass, Noemie Lenior and Twiggy. And she's already completed two ads for the high-street giant, which we're sure will see sales rise for the Christmas period, thanks to Lily's appeal.
Lily also made her acting debut in St Trinian's last year, where again she was praised for her geek-chic look, playing one of the school's top nerds. She held her own against some of the more experienced actors, and unbelievably made looking geeky hot! This next to the Posh Totty, Goths and Chavs of the school, was quite an achievement.
The model also showed her true political colours when she was spotted supporting Barack Obama back in September and as always, she was one step ahead of the fashion pack, who followed suit and threw their weight behind the now President-elect.
We hope Lily will come back on the fashion scene soon, we miss the gorgeous starlet and her funky dress sense!
