2K has released the star-studded trailer ahead of the launch of 'NBA 2K17'.
Basketball greats including Indiana Pacers player Paul George, Kobe Bryant, and Team 2K athletes Kevin Durant, Draymond Green, Jimmy Butler, and Kyrie Irving, are seen dominating the court in the new promo video for the upcoming release.
Much hype surrounds the game and its digital marketing director Ronnie Singh thinks it will be the best in the history of the franchise.
He said: "My favorite game is probably ... It's either '2K15' or '2K11'. I really think this one ['2k17'] will be the best one of all time. I know everybody says it every year, but I've been pretty honest about what my favorites are. '2K16' was not my favorite of all time... It's good, it's a great game and there's a lot of things that we did that were really great ... Spike Lee, all that stuff.
"But this year the gameplay is extremely smooth and that's what it comes down to. Gameplay is key to me and at the end of the day this is a basketball game and I think this is our best gameplay of all the editions.
"So '2K17', '2K15' and '2K11', that would probably be the order that I would take."
Meanwhile, Michael B. Jordan - who brings Justice Young in the MyCareer mode of the basketball game to life - says the best thing about being a star in 'NBA 2K17' is that he was given the opportunity to create his own "signature move".
Jordan is the latest big name from Hollywood to work with publishers 2K on the sport franchise, following Spike Lee's work in creating the story for MyCareer for 'NBA2K16', and he's honoured to be following in the footsteps of the acclaimed director.
He said: "To be able to follow in his footsteps, a legendary filmmaker like Spike Lee, was a tremendous honour. For myself, it was a reality check that I'm in the same realm as him, which is pretty cool."
Teasing his skilled move, he added: "I got to create my own signature move. It's a secret (at the moment) but it's really cool?"
'NBA 2K17' will be released on 20 September for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
